In nature, whole systems shift when background niche species become so successful that they take over the old structures. Thus, as we learned yesterday, we can make the greatest impact as individuals when we join with others locally and regionally for specific changes we want to see in our communities. We can have greater impact and have more fun doing it together. This is especially true for cultural and political actions. Systemic change starts locally.
